Author Visit at Holmewood House School

This week, our Year 5 children had a wonderful opportunity to visit Holmewood House School to attend an author talk by Lindsay Galvin. Lindsay is the author of a number of exciting adventure stories, many inspired by history and the natural world. She spoke about her writing journey, read from her books, and shared fascinating insights into the real events and characters that inspire her stories. The children were captivated and came away buzzing with ideas for their own writing.

We are very grateful to Holmewood House for inviting us, providing transport in their minibuses, and offering the children refreshments. Their warm hospitality made the visit a really special experience for our pupils.
