Visit from Mike Martin MP

On Friday, Mike Martin, the MP for Tunbridge Wells, visited Skinners' Temple Grove to spend some time learning more about our school. Our Year 6 leadership team had the opportunity to get to know Mike over some tea and biscuits, before taking him on a tour of the school.

The students enjoyed showing Mike around - from our classrooms to our student work displays, and the best place to spot bugs and frogs in our forest school.

In the afternoon, our Year 6 classes got to meet Mike for a talk about life as an MP and British Democracy, followed by a lively Q&A session where the students didn't hold back on grilling Mike about his job and what he does for our community.
