Our EYFS students were able to partake in a sensory walk on Thursday with our fabulous Mr. Townshend.

A sensory walk involves walking through an environment (such as a park, garden or even urban areas) with the intention of engaging all five senses: sight, sound, smell, touch and taste. This practice encourages mindfulness and helps those participating to focus on the present moment as they connect to the surroundings. They provide benefit for people of all ages but especially children with developing sensory and cognitive function.

This activity was thoroughly enjoyed by every participant - including the staff!
