Tunbridge Wells Singing Festival
Back
On Monday, a group of students attend the annual Singing Festival at the Assembly Hall Theatre. This festival is now in its 30th successful year and sees 20+ local schools come together for an incredible evening of music supported by some of our local secondary schools music departments.
From practice in school to a combined all-school rehearsal on the day, the children met up with staff in the evening to celebrate their voices and songs, and displayed incredible courage to stand on the stage in front of a huge audience. The students were very resilient, aspiring, encouraging and respectful, and we have since received great praise from other schools that were in attendance on Monday night for our excellent behaviour and singing (both at rehearsal and in the evening). It was lovely to have other schools notice the efforts our students put into making this such a success.
