Activity Day & Sleepover

On Thursday our Year 5 class had the fantastic opportunity to attend an activity day and sleepover at Adamswell Scout Camp in Langton Green. The class travelled down on Thursday to explore the site. Those choosing to stay over not only earned the Resilient sticker for the Skinners' Primary Award but also got experience Mrs Leeves' cooking!

The following day, the whole class were reunited for activity fun including rock climbing, archery and axe throwing! They had the added excitement of meeting Frodo's Uncle, Mum and brother who popped over for a visit.

As the site is self-sufficient, pupils also had the opportunity to practice or learn life skills such as making their own lunch, washing up and vacuuming as well as working together and solving problems.

Many thanks to Ms Gilbert, Ms Murphy, Ms Doherty and Mrs Leeves for supporting the trip.
