Harvest Festival at St. Philips Church

Thursday 1st October was our annual Harvest Festival which this year we were fortunate enough to host at St. Philips Church. This is a wonderful event looking at how crops are grown, how food arrives on our dinner table and traditions around the world come autumn time when most crops are ready for harvesting.

Celebrating this at St. Philips allows us to share with the community, looking at caring for others through the donations of food provided and simply to be thankful, not only for food and each other. A big thank you to everyone who donated an item towards supporting the food larder, and thank you to the parents who joined us for the lovely service Reverend Rich and his team provided us with.
