Year 6 Residential to Wales
Back
This week saw our Year 6 students head off to North Wales to undertake a residential week of activities designed to promote team work, independence and resilience. After hearty breakfasts (we heard the pancakes were delicious) students ploughed through never ending activities from archery and knot tying to rafting, paddling, swimming and for some brave souls jumping into the freezing cold lake voluntarily!
There was lots of sleepy heads on the coach heading home, lots of food eaten, and lots of challenges that the children overcame. They have developed new friendships and had the best time in Wales with a scenic backdrop for memories and photos.
We are sure they have plenty of tales to tell their parents over the well deserved Half Term!
